As an Experience Strategy Intern at Siegel + Gale, I had the opportunity to create experience concepts and flex my strategic skills to develop brand strategies for high-profile clients across industries.

Working at a unique intersection between Experience and Strategy, I joined a team that has been actively working to instill an experience-forward mindset throughout the company. The projects I got to work on were incredibly rich and varied, including ideating experience ideas for a website that aims to reinvent tomorrow, conducting a brand asset audit, and identifying a new brand governance model to help teams across the company get in sync with one another.

I also had a unique opportunity with my fellow intern class to develop a branded strategy initiative for the Future of Work. The project, titled Future Forward, is a comprehensive plan for S+G to lead the way back to work, considering community & inclusion, health & wellness, and technology once we settle into a post-COVID world.

Based on input from current employees and a comprehensive audit of companies across industries, my teammates and I created a plan that lays a path forward, including an embrace of a hybrid work model, an increased focus on diversity and inclusion, and prioritizing mental health in an age of overcommunication and stress.

During my time here, I’ve been deeply inspired by the passion of my colleagues as they rally behind S+G’s motto - “simple is smart.” In my time here that simple is not always easy to find or implement - rather, it’s peeling back layers to find the core emotional reasons that people act and react.
